“Your roots within”, Motto for the Upcoming 2526 School Year
This year’s motto, “Your roots within”, is an invitation to reflect on the importance of being well-rooted: having solid foundations that provide identity and inner strength. This is an idea deeply rooted in the Word of God. Saint Paul reminds us in Colossians 2:7: “Remain rooted and built up in Christ, firm in the faith as you were taught.” To be rooted in Christ means to have our foundation in Him, from where we grow as individuals and as a community. Deep roots allow us to withstand storms, remain steadfast in difficult times, and bear fruit.
The motto “Your roots within” invites us to look deep within: to that which gives us identity and meaning. It is a proposal to reconnect with our personal history—with its lights and shadows—and to discover that place where God speaks, sustains, and recreates our lives. In this way, by knowing ourselves better, we are also more open to hearing God’s call. Only from a solid root can an authentic vocation grow, a committed response to what each of us is called to be and to give.
In the context of the Piarist Schools, this motto encourages us to return to our charismatic roots, to what truly unites and nourishes us as a community. Rooted in Christ and in our founding spirit, we can grow with purpose and bear abundant fruit. Thus, “Your roots within” is much more than an image; it is an invitation to live with meaning, rooted in what truly gives life.
The logo conveys a clear and profound message through a simple and meaningful design. On the left, a figure evokes a plant with extended roots and leaves sprouting upward, a universal symbol of life, growth, and connection to what is essential. The lines are clean and balanced, and the blue-green color suggests tranquility, confidence, and natural life. On the right, the text “Your roots within” in vibrant orange brings energy, closeness, and warmth, with a robust and modern typeface that underscores the strength of the message. The logo expresses this call to return to the essential, to our human and spiritual roots. It reminds us that it is not only about growing upward, but about being deeply connected to what sustains us.
